MANGO LASSI WITH FRESH TURMERIC ROOT
Serves 2-4 (makes about 4 cups)
- 2 ripe small-to-medium-sized sweet mangos, skin and seed removed, roughly chopped
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup Udo’s Oil DHA 3·6·9 Blend
- 1 inch fresh turmeric root (about 1 teaspoon), minced
- ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1 cup water
- 4 ice cubes
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth; about 1 minute;
- Pour into individual glasses and serve immediately
